Diesel Mechanic/Shop Foreman - Fogelsville/Tamaqua

Based out of our Tamaqua location we are accepting applications for a qualified Diesel Mechanic / Shop Foreman, who is willing to bring top notch skills and the ability to grow within an exceptional organization. Required Skills/Abilities Extensive knowledge of all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to verbally communicate in a positive manner with co-workers to accurately solve issues Prepare and maintain accurate records to track parts and labor to track costs and submit to management Ability to solve the most minor issue to prevent costly repairs later Perform all duties in accordance with best practices in mind for a safe work environment Other duties as assigned Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with heavy trucks and equipment Valid CDL Driver's License Pennsylvania Class 3 Inspection license (or willingness to obtain) Requirements Ability to pass an extensive background check is required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives Valid Commercial Driver's License Must have own tools Ability to perform repairs off site Ability to stand and work for an extended period of time Have full range of movements including bending, reaching, crouching and be able to lift 75+ lbs. Work Environment You will be working in all weather conditions at times and exposed to loud noise and moving parts Required safety equipment will be provided with a yearly reimbursement for safety toe shoes Compensation will be discussed at the time of interview which includes an excellent health coverage plan; available (after 30 days of employment) medical, dental, eye and prescription. Bi-weekly contribution amount will be discussed at the time of interview along with eligible family members.
