COMPENSATION: Start earning competitive pay from $33.62 to $35.62 per hour, with a starting rate of $33.62 per hour. Enjoy a daily per diem of $75, plus accommodations, fuel, and a vehicle provided for you. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: As a US FOODS® Utility Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our team as you transport our quality products to customers. Your contributions are fundamental to our success, driven by our cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service. Deliver exceptional customer service. Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining productivity. Unload products using hand trucks and place items in customer storage areas. Perform heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds regularly. Make frequent stops throughout your shifts. Deliver products in varying weather conditions. Verify deliveries with customers. Handle payments (cash or checks) as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21 years old. Valid CDL A license issued by your state of residence, along with necessary endorsements, and must be DOT qualified. A minimum of six months of commercial truck driving experience or three months of relevant foodservice delivery experience is required.
