Role Overview: As an Independent Auto Appraiser, you will provide accurate electronic estimates for automobile repair costs, enabling our clients to assess fair settlement amounts. This role involves communicating with vehicle owners, inspecting involved properties, and ensuring client satisfaction through thorough inspections and detailed reporting. Contract Requirements: 1+ years of field claims experience, specifically in auto claims. Proficiency in electronic estimating platforms such as Mitchell, CCC, or Audatex. Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work autonomously and manage your workload effectively. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability. Reliable smartphone or device capable of capturing and transmitting quality photos. We are Looking For: A professional who promptly handles assignments and adheres to client policies and procedures. A candidate who stays updated on local industry repair procedures and pricing. A knowledgeable individual familiar with Department of Insurance regulations and state requirements. A person capable of submitting detailed inspection reports and identifying potential damages. Someone who can navigate routes efficiently for timely inspections and appraisals. A reliable individual with a valid driver's license and safe driving record. A professional who dresses appropriately for public interaction. Education/Licensure: State licensing as required for your location. Appraiser's license and/or Adjuster's license as applicable. I-CAR Certification is preferred. We estimate potential annual earnings between $60K - $85K, based on your workload and industry averages. Working Conditions: This role requires 100% travel within designated territories, normal field environment conditions, and the ability to perform physical inspections outdoors in various weather. Flexibility for irregular hours and potential overnight travel during catastrophic events is a plus.
