Responsibilities: Research and identify trending and nostalgic products that align with our brandBuild and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliersNegotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize marginsAnalyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize product mixCollaborate with marketing and merchandising teams on product launchesAttend trade shows, candy expos, and industry events to scout new findsManage purchase orders, inventory levels, and replenishment cyclesEnsure compliance with food safety and import regulations Job Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in retail buying, preferably in food, beverage, or novelty categoriesStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsPassion for candy, soda, and pop culture trendsExcellent analytical and forecasting abilitiesFamiliarity with inventory management systems and ExcelAbility to travel occasionally for sourcing and eventsA sharp eye for what sellsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software (EDI Systems).Highly organized with excellent attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWillingness to work in a warehouse environment and collaborate with warehouse personnel on incoming and outgoing shipments and purchase orders Full-Time position requiring 40-45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
