Assistant Restaurant Manager

In this role, you will assist the General Manager in overseeing restaurant operations while training and supporting employees to ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing, training, and coaching Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops to deliver outstanding service. Assigning roles and directing employees to maintain operational standards of food service. Ensuring compliance with the employee handbook, policies, and best practices. Executing opening and closing procedures for the restaurant. Monitoring staffing levels, inventory, and food cost control, making adjustments as necessary. Conducting weekly inventory as required. Assisting in maintaining administrative records and documentation. Promoting a customer-centric atmosphere and proactively addressing guest requests and complaints. Requirements for the Assistant Restaurant Manager position include: Availability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. A solid understanding of the restaurant or retail industry. At least six months of experience in restaurant management or one year of retail management experience, including experience running shifts independently. Strong communication skills, with basic math and computer proficiency. The ability to follow directives and work autonomously, including multitasking and problem-solving effectively.
