Mary Lee Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN independent contractor basis. In this role, you will work approximately 8 hours (one day) per week providing clinical OT services, consisting of evaluation, re-evaluation, and treatment of clients in accordance with accepted standards of Occupation Therapy practice. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the developmental and functional abilities of adults with Intellectual development disabilities (IDD) • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote the development of fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and adaptive behaviors • Collaborate closely with Case Managers, families, and other therapists to support an integrated approach to each adult with IDD's development. • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to review and adapt therapeutic goals as necessary. • Educate families and staff on strategies to support therapeutic goals and encourage the carryover of skills into daily routines. • Document and track progress in accordance with all state and federal guidelines and professional standards. Qualifications: • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. • Current Texas Occupational Therapy license in good standing. • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience, ideally working with adults with Intellectual Development Disabilities (IDD). • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently as an independent contractor.
