Respiratory TherapistUp to $20,000 sign on bonus! We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team in Ohio. As a vital part of our medical staff, you will play a key role in the evaluation, treatment, and management of patients with respiratory conditions. Key Responsibilities: Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, such as asthma, COPD, and pneumonia. Administer therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physical therapy, and mechanical ventilation. Perform diagnostic tests like pulmonary function testing (PFTs) and blood gas analysis. Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans. Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques, smoking cessation, and managing chronic respiratory issues. Respond to emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures, including Code Blue situations. Qualifications: Associate's degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program. Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for entry-level candidates. Active state licensure in Ohio. Strong clinical knowledge and skills in respiratory care. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work in fast-paced environments, including emergency and critical care settings.
