GPAC is a national executive search firm that has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Project Scheduler Specialist. This client is a design engineering, fabrication and self-perform mechanical contractor seeking a talented individual in the Nashville market. The ideal candidate for the Project Scheduler Specialist position will have over 3 years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, or a similar role. Primary qualifications for the Project Scheduler Specialist position include: 3+ years of experience in project scheduling/coordinating for small and large capital projects OR 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager who has built and managed project schedules in MS Project or similar with a desire to learn P6. Strong knowledge of Primavera P6. Experience in setting up and managing P6 resource-loaded schedules. Experience with MS Project or similar is a plus. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of project team members. Willingness to perform site walk downs. Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple tasks with changing priorities. Confidence in their expertise, with a commitment to researching answers and finding effective solutions for challenges.
