CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER Non-Profit & Institutional Banking WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Join our innovative team as a Client Relationship Manager specializing in non-profit and institutional banking. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and manage meaningful relationships with commercial clients, delivering customized product solutions that address their individual needs. Your dedication to exceptional service and relationship profitability will be pivotal in driving the growth of our portfolio through proactive engagement and collaboration with clients and colleagues alike. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Develop and enhance profitable relationships with prospective and existing clients that align with the bank's strategic objectives. Actively engage with customers to uphold the bank's credit culture, while identifying and nurturing opportunities for credit expansion. Work closely with internal departments and team members to create integrated solutions tailored to customer needs, representing the bank at community and professional events. Develop a customized Relationship Plan and calling schedule for each client or prospect, actively seeking new business opportunities. Conduct client visits to promote all bank products and services, fostering comprehensive banking relationships and forecasting credit needs. Negotiate terms and document loan agreements while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations, applying sound credit judgment throughout. Engage in civic and community activities to create networking opportunities for the bank, enhancing our reputation in the market. Ensure alignment of objectives across all product areas within client transactions and address any concerns rapidly. Monitor and assess client relationship performance to evaluate profitability, offering insights for further development or account review. Oversee portfolio quality and risk, partnering with staff to mitigate any emerging issues. Stay updated on competitive products and market conditions to effectively guide clients. Assess complex credit situations to partner with clients in finding effective solutions that minimize loss risks. Potentially serve as a product specialist, providing expert guidance to clients and colleagues across various business segments. Manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, optimizing workflows to maximize client satisfaction while controlling risk. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. At least 3 years of lending experience. At least 3 years of credit experience. Additional Qualifications In-depth knowledge of products and services for the targeted client segments. Familiarity with commercial credit policies and banking operations. Proven capabilities in sales and marketing. Strong credit analysis and accounting skills. Effective in working both independently and as part of a team. Comfortable making informed business decisions independently. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Expertise in client relationship management and cross-selling strategies. Broad comprehension of bank credit products and underwriting standards. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year, with actual compensation depending on skills, experience, and location. This position also has eligibility for bonuses and/or commissions.
