Summary: As a CNC Machinist, you will be a highly skilled professional focused on precision and detail. This role demands a commitment to safety and a mechanical aptitude for handling complex machinery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize hands to operate tools or controls. Engage in repetitive movements. Possess vision capable of seeing small objects at close range (with or without assistance). Demonstrate the ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Lift weights up to 25 lbs. Key Responsibilities: Retrieve and call up CNC programs. Set up machines and produce parts with precision. Configure equipment/machinery and install necessary attachments. Interpret job traveler instructions, technical drawings, and set-up diagrams. Measure and record product dimensions to ensure quality control. Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Utilize hand tools effectively; adjust production equipment setup as needed. Load and unload materials for processing. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of equipment or machinery. Adhere to Procedures and Work Instructions diligently. Requirements: Required Skills / Experience: Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and directions. Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English. Capability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of and proficiency in interpreting fractional measurements (1/1000-, 1/100-, 1/10-inch) and G and M codes. Accurate counting and comparison skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving results. Basic mathematics proficiency for daily calculations. Positive attitude and strong team player mentality; prior Manufacturing/CNC experience is a plus. High school diploma, GED, or a minimum of five years of work experience. This position is subject to ITAR regulations, necessitating U.S. person status (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
