Gardens Home Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to become a part of a great team. We provide home health services for the local area including La Mesa and Coronado. Title/Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)- PER DIEM COVERAGE AREA: San Diego: La Mesa & Coronado Reports To: Clinical Supervisor/Director of Nursing JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY PREVIOUS HOME HEALTH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED SPANISH SPEAKING PREFERRED The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct patient care in a patient's place of residence under the direction/supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides nursing care within the scope of practice for licensed vocational nursing and accepts responsibility of individual nursing actions, competence, decisions and behavior in the course of vocational nursing practice. Licensed Vocational Nurse The Home Health Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct patient care in a patient's place of residence under the direction/supervision of a Registered Nurse. Required qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License/ California Vocational Nursing License National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 1-year Professional nursing experience. Preferred qualifications: IV and Central lines experience. Experience with wound care including use of negative pressure devices.
