As a Navy physician, you will: Receive excellent compensation in a stable, established practice. Experience manageable patient ratios to ensure high-quality, personalized care. Gain hands-on experience and access to Navy-funded advanced training opportunities. Work flexible hours that allow more time for personal and family pursuits. Lead within the highly respected Navy healthcare team, providing critical medical care for Sailors, Marines, and their families. Conduct a range of medical duties, from diagnosing illnesses to emergency life-saving interventions. Collaborate with military and civilian medical professionals, and engage with international relief organizations. Expand your medical expertise through management experiences that will enhance your career. Your part-time service in the Navy Reserve will involve scheduled training and drilling periods, allowing you to maintain your civilian practice without interruption. Typically, you'll work close to home during monthly drills, while annual training could take you anywhere in the world, including at sea or in various military installations.
