Position Overview The Project Manager will lead and ensure the successful execution of commercial construction projects. This role demands exceptional communication, a clear directive approach, and a commitment to cultivating enduring client relationships. Collaborate with the executive team to support strategic goals and foster growth. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with the Estimating team during preconstruction. Accurately interpret construction plans and specifications. Mentor junior project management personnel. Establish and nurture relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors for future project opportunities. Oversee procurement processes for subcontractors and vendors, including contract writing and ensuring compliance with insurance/bonding. Address conflicts and resolve issues related to drawing interpretations. Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, owner billings, timesheets, and monthly reporting. Guarantee timely owner billings and subcontractor invoice processing. Prepare monthly cost projections and project completion forecasts. Oversee project schedules and provide regular progress updates. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience/certifications). 5+ years of experience managing commercial or light industrial projects. Strong knowledge of building systems and construction methodologies. Proven financial management capabilities and the ability to autonomously run projects from inception to completion.
