Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, software developers, and healthcare professionals, to define and refine the platform's architecture. Develop and maintain backend infrastructure, focusing on systems for data ingestion, storage, processing, and retrieval. Design and implement data models and database structures that accommodate complex relationships in healthcare data. Incorporate search technologies and natural language processing (NLP) capabilities for enhanced search and summarization features. Build RESTful or gRPC services, emphasizing API design, error handling, and observability. Oversee the development, debugging, and design processes of software applications or operating systems. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, cultivating a culture of knowledge sharing and excellence. Offer technical leadership to other developers, specifying and implementing architectural changes to adapt to evolving needs. Stay informed about advancements in cloud-native AI/ML technologies and propose innovative improvements for our platform. Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with a robust academic foundation. 8+ years of software development experience, particularly in backend and data-centric systems. Proficient in React, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and proficient in UI development. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, RESTful services, and microservices architecture. Hands-on experience in cloud-native development across major cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, GCP, AWS) is essential. Familiarity with cloud engineering infrastructure and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker). Excellent communication skills to elucidate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
