Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is seeking a proactive Entry-Level Account Executive to join our dynamic Integrated Marketing Systems (IMS) team. This role focuses on generating new business through targeted outreach to small and midsize businesses (SMB) in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry. You will be vital in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base by building and managing a pipeline of opportunities from initial contact to successful closes. This position is remote and allows you the flexibility to work from home, serving candidates located within the continental United States. Travel Requirements A willingness to travel for in-person meetings with clients as necessary is expected. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities. Pursue leads and identify prospects that align with our offerings. Understand our specialized products, services, and market dynamics. Engage with key decision-makers to present IMS products and services. Conduct regular follow-ups to progress opportunities towards closing. Collaborate with Senior Sales personnel to expand contacts and identify opportunities. Connect with clients through various channels including phone, chat, email, and video conferencing. Meet daily KPIs for prospecting and follow-ups. Maintain high call volumes to effectively reach potential clients. Use Salesforce CRM to update the prospecting pipeline in real time, documenting progress and expected deal value. Accurately forecast monthly sales outcomes based on pipeline activity. Prepare and send proposals, as well as process contracts through internal systems. Thoroughly document customer interactions and details in Salesforce. Education Requirement Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Essential Experience and Skills 1+ years of relevant sales experience, ideally in SaaS or technology sales, with proven success in closing deals. 4+ years of general work experience. Strong personal integrity and a commitment to achieving outcomes, with a willingness to learn. Excellent relationship-building and customer-centric skills. Aptitude for recognizing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions. Ability to conduct cold calls and develop a productive sales pipeline. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; active listening is crucial. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Tech-savvy with a capacity to learn new software quickly. Preferred Qualifications Skillful in using Salesforce tools. Familiarity with the A/E/C industry and government projects. This salary range reflects the expected compensation for this position. Final offers may vary based on geographical location, experience, and other job-related factors.
