Senior Data Center Project Leader A leading general contractor is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to spearhead large-scale data center projects from inception through completion. This role is pivotal in providing strategic project leadership, managing multiple teams, and fostering important stakeholder relationships to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in mission-critical construction and a proven track record managing large, technically sophisticated data center projects featuring significant MEP scope and stringent schedules. Key Responsibilities Deliver robust leadership for large-scale data center construction initiatives Manage and mentor project teams including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers Oversee senior-level project budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and change management Establish and maintain comprehensive project schedules and milestone tracking Facilitate coordination of intricate MEP systems and vital infrastructure Act as the main liaison for owners, design teams, and executive stakeholders Direct procurement strategies for long-lead and critical equipment Influence preconstruction strategies, conduct constructability reviews, and oversee logistics planning Guide project closeout, commissioning coordination, and final handover Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 8 years of managing data center or mission-critical construction projects Strong background in leading sizeable project teams and complex scopes of work In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, power distribution, and critical infrastructure Demonstrated capability to manage aggressive schedules and high-risk project settings Proven experience with high-value project delivery Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities Education Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred Compensation & Benefits Attractive compensation package Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans Opportunities for long-term career advancement with an industry leader If you are an experienced data center leader eager to drive substantial projects rather than merely overseeing tasks, this opportunity is for you.
