In this role, you will be instrumental in leading major fundraising campaigns through dynamic staff management and strategic networking with top executives to engage them as volunteers and corporate partners. You will report directly to the Executive Director and will manage a team of seven fundraising directors with four direct reports. Be prepared for daily travel within the market. We offer a competitive base salary and the potential to earn an incentive of up to 25% of your base pay based on meeting specific revenue targets. Responsibilities Translate the strategic vision into actionable plans through effective management of staff and volunteer engagement initiatives. Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, ensuring adherence to timelines and accountability among staff. Recruit and lead high-level volunteers and leadership committees to meet and exceed assigned revenue goals. Achieve financial targets while managing multiple revenue streams. Drive new business development to expand partnerships supporting our mission. Prepare and manage the operational budget for the region, ensuring reasonable expenditures. Grow overall market revenue by applying established organizational processes. Engage in community and corporate events to enhance visibility and build valuable business relationships. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience in fundraising, outside sales, or a related role in a non-profit organization. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role; relevant internal experience within the American Heart Association will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver engaging presentations and develop clear reports. Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial goals and fundraising reports, with proficiency in spreadsheet and database analysis. Willingness to travel locally up to 75%; reliable transportation is required. Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting or moving large items, as needed.
