Your Role: Plan your days, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with your team to ensure safe and timely freight movement. Manage all essential paperwork and electronic logs accurately, adhering to DOT regulations, state, and company guidelines. Operate your tractor-trailer safely, inspecting it before, during, and after each trip. Follow optimized routes, traffic laws, and local restrictions to improve delivery efficiency. Uphold Walmart’s standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Minimum Qualifications: Valid Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain it within 120 calendar days of hire. A minimum of 30 months of experience in a full-time Class A driving position within the last 3 years or successful completion of the Walmart Fleet Development Academy Program. No more than two moving violations in the last three years while operating any motor vehicle. No serious traffic violations in the last three years. No preventable accidents in the last three years while operating any motor vehicle. No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last ten years. No accidents resulting in fatalities in your driving history. Must reside within 250 miles of the assigned facility or agree to relocate within 90 days of hire. The determination of accident preventability will be based on Walmart's criteria per the ATA Guidelines.
