Production Operator - 5

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-quality paints and coatings, is seeking a Production Operator - 5 to join their team. As a Production Operator - 5, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Production Operator - 5 Location: Houston, TX Pay Range: Shift: 3rd shift: Hours of operation are 10pm - 6:30am with OT as needed What's the Job? Execute assigned production tasks in accordance with procedures to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost standards are met. Perform daily production, preventative maintenance, and process data collection activities following established control systems. Report safety, quality, or process issues promptly to supervisors and contribute to investigations of incidents or quality concerns. Maintain production assets, operate equipment such as tank washers, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld. Assist in material handling, including maintaining raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods, and operate forklifts as needed. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and guidelines. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a team environment. Physical ability to lift containers up to 75 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods. Basic knowledge of safety procedures, including forklift operation and chemical handling. What's in it for me?
