The childbearing cycle, including normal experience, high-risk factors, complications and alterations are studied. Additional women’s health issues are included.Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to teach at certain clinical partner sitesIf you are passionate about nursing and advancing your career through the power of education, we invite you to apply today.In this role, the clinical instructor: Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system and professionAssumes responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignmentsPlans clinical experiences for and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to an individual or group of individualsEvaluates and provides documented feedback to student on level of performance based on course objectivesIs available for remediation of students as required or neededOrients and maintains current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations with the assistance of the agency/clinical personnelDevelops and posts written clinical assignments consistent with student's knowledge base, skill competency and individual learning needsGrades homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork and other written work in a timely mannerMay teach didactic course content under supervision of course coordinatorKeeps course coordinator informed of all student and agency issues and concerns Qualifications: QualificationsYou are encouraged to explore this opportunity if you have: A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or universityAn unencumbered professional nursing licenseAt least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurseProof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to teach at certain clinical partner sitesTeaching or precepting experience is preferred but not requiredHave genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learningHave exceptional subject matter expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skillsAre eager to serve students and colleagues with passion, respect and careOperate with a sense of responsibility and purpose with the desire to enrich colleagues, students and the broader community. Additional InformationIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $65 per hour and $97.50 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
