Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week day shift contract at an award-winning outpatient rehabilitation private practice in Stockton, CA. Job Details • Outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting, • Day shift schedule, • 13-week contract, • No travel expected for this position, Job Requirements • Active CA PT license required (license required if applicable), • Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience, • Degree in Physical Therapy required, • Proficiency in EMR for evaluations, reports, and documentation, • Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and familiarity with PT billing procedures, • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, assist with patient transfers, and remain physically mobile for 8-10 hour shifts including prolonged standing and walking, • Strong computer skills including typing, Microsoft Word, and internet use, • Ability to make independent clinical decisions regarding patient care, Additional Information • This facility was awarded Private Practice of the Year by the APTA, • Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, supervising PT Assistants and Aides, and coordinating with physicians and front office staff on scheduling and patient follow-up, • Position involves supervising PT Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care, • Candidate must comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable federal and state regulations, • Continuing education coursework is preferred, • DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
