PROCUREMENT ASSOCIATE - Tallahassee, FL

SUMMARY: Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services for the organization to ensure operational efficiency, quality, and cost savings. Responsible to keep company licenses and permits current, timely processing and payment of invoices for goods and services including coding, and organizational inventory maintenance. SCHEDULE/HOURS: This is NOT a remote position. Work is performed at the corporate office. Full Time Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., but extended hours may be needed on some occasions. Rarely weekends, but may be needed on occasion. Rare overnight travel. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma required. BS in related field preferred. One to five years' experience in purchasing and inventory operations with at least one year in medical setting preferred.
