Job Details Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Location: Geneva, NY 14456 (Finger Lakes) - New York nursing jobs, Geneva healthcare) Employment Type: Travel, Full-Time Shift: 8 Hour Nights, 5 shifts per week Hours per Week: 37.5-40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $900-$970/week Duration: 14 weeks (with potential for extension) Start Date: April 7, 2026 End Date: July 11, 2026 Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday coverage required Job Requirements / Qualifications Active New York State Nursing Assistant Certification (NYS CNA) Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI only) High School Diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or similar elder care setting Strong communication, documentation, and resident-centered care skills Responsibilities - Long-Term Care CNA Provide resident care per individualized care plans: assistance with ADLs (hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding) and skin care Maintain resident safety and comfort by responding promptly to call lights and alarms and following facility safety protocols Assist with meal delivery, tray prep, feeding, and honoring resident preferences Support rehabilitative needs: range of motion, ambulation, safe transfers, and proper use of assistive devices Accurate documentation of care, observations, and changes in resident condition per facility protocol Communicate resident rights, refusals, concerns, and status changes to Charge or Supervising Nurse promptly Adhere to infection control, PPE use, and occupational exposure policies Collaborate with nursing team and interdisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality long-term care services Why Join Our Team Work in a supportive long-term care environment in beautiful Geneva, NY - perfect for CNAs seeking travel CNA assignments, New York nursing jobs, or experience in SNF/elder care.
