Job Description Job Description • In this role you would be handling a team of 16 people. • Interaction will be a lot with team and Lead but less with Hiring Manager. • The top priority for the first few weeks/months will be understanding our systems and learning the culture of the team. • The biggest challenge in this role will be learning the nuances of permitting. • Permitting and other prerequisite management for hard money bid packages/capital projects • Initiate ROW permit applications for a variety of jurisdictions as instructed by work order owners; review work schedule and initiate Planned Outage Switching Sheets and customer notifications according to established timelines. • Evaluate and communicate schedule risk with project manager to ensure work remains on schedule with minimal adjustments. May coordinate with multiple project managers over the course of a week. Requirements Top 3 Must-Haves • ROW permitting experience in Oregon. • Teamwork and collaboration • Efficient, proactive Top Nice-To-Haves • Maximo Work Management. • FUN PBOT process knowledge. Qualifications Requirements • ROW PERMITTING EXPERIENCE is a must in any of these counties : Multnomah, Marion, Washington, Clackamas, Beaverton Salem. • City of Portland FUN permit experience highly desired. • Ideally some PGE operations background would be good as well. • Detail-oriented. • Extremely flexible. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • The ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Strongly self-motivated. Independent judgment and initiative required. • Demonstrated leadership skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Capacity to learn Outage Management System electrical model to create and maintain switching sheets, including real-time monitoring of planned outages. • Distribution knowledge or context that would aid in the creation of switching sheets and coordinating outages.
