A full-time Speech Pathologist is sought for a K-12 educational setting, specializing in teletherapy and in-person speech-language pathology services. This contracted opportunity involves delivering comprehensive speech and language support to students, helping them improve communication skills essential for academic success. Key responsibilities include: Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals Providing teletherapy and traditional therapy services in accordance with best practice guidelines Collaborating with educators and staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary Preferred qualifications and experience: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Proven ability to deliver teletherapy services effectively Experience working within K-12 school environments Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation requirements Work hours are scheduled from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday, with Fridays concluding at 2:30 PM. This role is based in Sterling Heights, MI, and provides the opportunity to support student development through both virtual and face-to-face interventions. Leveraging expertise in telepractice alongside traditional therapy methodologies will ensure a holistic approach to speech-language pathology for a diverse student population.
