DescriptionAmazon is seeking a Site Operations Leader to drive the successful installation and deployment of automation and material handling systems across multiple facilities. This role provides technical expertise in deploying automation and robotics, while leading field execution with a strong focus on master scheduling, budget management, and procurement coordination. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with operational excellence, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The Site Operations Leader will develop high-performing teams, establish standard work, and partner cross-functionally to execute complex projects with multi-site impact.Key job responsibilitiesProvide technical expertise for automation initiatives across assigned sitesImplement technical solutions and contribute to architectural decisionsFollow and help develop technical standards and best practicesParticipate in technical reviews and drive engineering excellenceRecommend and implement process improvementsLead delivery of complex projects with multi-site impact ($10M to $50M scope)Develop and maintain master schedules for MHE implementationsOwn budget tracking and financial reporting for assigned projectsManage procurement timelines and shipment logistics for critical MHE componentsCreate and maintain integrated project schedules across multiple sitesTrack critical path items and identify/mitigate schedule risksWork cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and operations teamsCoordinate with vendors on equipment delivery schedules and milestone trackingLead weekly schedule and budget review meetingsProvide technical input to leadership for decision-makingManage relationships with vendors and partnersCreate and maintain technical documentationDevelop procurement and logistics strategies for large-scale deploymentsMonitor and report KPIs for schedule adherence, budget performance, and technical metricsSupport achievement of safety, timeline, cost, and quality metricsCoordinate site logistics and inventory for large complex projectsNote: Candidates can sit out of any Amazon location in US.A day in the lifeAs a Operations Engineer - Site Operations Leader, you will serve as a technical expert in the integration and deployment of automation and material handling solutions, with a strong focus on master scheduling, budget management, and procurement tracking. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
