Role: AWS DevOps Lead Location: Stamford, CT (Locals Only) Contract Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated AWS DevOps Lead to spearhead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and leading high-performing DevOps teams. This is a leadership role that combines technical depth with strategic execution. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design, implementation, and management of AWS-based infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and high-availability applications. • Define and implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automated deployments. • Guide the team in IaC development using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK. • Own and maintain cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization. • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software. • Lead incident management and troubleshooting for cloud-based systems. • Mentor junior engineers and help grow the DevOps culture and capability across teams. • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements or new tools/services.
