SQL Developer with Python Iselin, NJ Contract Job ID; 174666 Job Description: Software Engineer 3/SQL In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering. Required Qualifications: 4 plus years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education. Top Skills: 5 to 8 years engineering experience 6 years of SQL experience Python Experience with large data volumes, experience with data modeling and data design Strong Plus: 1 to 2 years of cloud technology, preferably Google Nice to have: Agile background Dynamic individual, able to pick up new tasks quickly and take initiative Work on a data platform supporting multiple domains under CAO like Corporate Properties, SCM, and Corporate Security. Responsible for building pipelines in order to take data from upstream applications and send it downstream to the end users. Need mid-level engineer who can help with needs in SQL and Google Cloud for data persistence. Want to give capacity back to the Leads on the team so they can focus on next generation initiatives. Hope to have someone who needs minimal support and direction. Standard Scrum team is a team of 10. 2 Senior Leads who guide the team, do the designs and then there are groupings of data engineers and automation engineers Pay Range: $60 - $66/hr. on W2 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
