Job Responsibilities Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and create individualized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives. Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic care. Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapy methods that encourage continued progress at home. Assess and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment approaches as necessary to keep patients on track. Education Requirements Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported. Required Certifications Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory.
