Gardant is seeking an Infrastructure Support Specialist responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the IT infrastructure for Gardant managed communities. While this position will interface with cloud services and providers, this is not a programming/sysadmin focused position. Reporting directly to the AVP of IT Infrastructure, the Infrastructure Support Specialist will work closely with the IT team and stakeholders to achieve high standards for reliability, security, and infrastructure performance. Responsibilities: Monitors and supports performance of network (LAN/WAN, routing, firewalls, wireless), phone, nurse call alert, and other essential infrastructure systems Designs and implements the Ethernet/phone cabling design Performs regular system checks and proactively resolve issues to prevent downtime Responds to infrastructure incidents, implement corrective actions, and follow proper escalation procedures Installs, configures, and maintains infrastructure equipment and cabling to meet high quality standards Applies patches, updates, and upgrades to infrastructure components in a timely manner Implements and tests configuration and data backup strategies and disaster recovery procedures Maintains accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and incident resolution Maintains detailed records of infrastructure configurations, incidents, and changes. Ensure that infrastructure complies with security policies and regulatory requirements while monitoring for security vulnerabilities Monitors systems for security vulnerabilities and implement protective measures Assists in infrastructure audits and security assessments, remaining current with evolving technologies and industry best practices Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience required 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure support Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance frameworks Familiarity with Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, and other network infrastructure, analog and VOIP phone systems, and wiring standards for low voltage deployments Industry certifications such as CCNA, Security+, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus Frequent travel is required - Must hold valid driver's license in good driving record as determined by the insurance carrier Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefit packages Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) Employer-subsidized gym membership & wellness program EAP & Maven family planning program 401(k) with biweekly employer match Outside-In Employee Referral Program Intentional work-life balance supported with competitive Paid Time Off Self-service payroll & tools (PayCom)
