Position Type: Technology/Communications Date Posted: 2/24/2026 Location: Noble Academy Date Available: ASAP WEB DESIGNER Noble Academy, District 4171 Job Description GENERAL PURPOSE: To design, develop, and maintain Noble Academy's website and digital presence to ensure clear communication, brand consistency, and an engaging user experience for students, families, staff, and the community. The Web Designer supports school leadership by managing digital content, improving site functionality, and ensuring accessibility and compliance with applicable standards. QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in web design, graphic design, computer science, marketing, communications, or a related field. • May substitute a combination of equivalent education and experience. • Experience designing and maintaining websites, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting. • Knowledge of website accessibility standards and best practices preferred. PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Designs, updates, and maintains the school's website to ensure accuracy, usability, and visual appeal. • Collaborates with administration and staff to gather and publish website content, announcements, and updates. • Ensures website compliance with accessibility standards and applicable state and federal requirements. • Monitors website performance, functionality, and security; coordinates updates and troubleshooting as needed. • Manages digital branding to ensure consistency with Noble Academy's mission, vision, and visual identity. • Creates digital graphics, banners, forms, and visual content for school communications and marketing efforts. • Assists with online forms, enrollment pages, and integration of school management systems as applicable. • Supports communication initiatives including newsletters, event promotions, and social media graphics as assigned. • Maintains organized digital files and documentation of website updates and design assets. • Establishes effective working relationships with vendors, consultants, and platform providers. • Supports school-wide initiatives and special projects as directed by senior administration. • Follows other duties as assigned by the Superintendent and/or CEO. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: • Knowledge of web design principles, user experience (UX), and responsive design • Proficiency in website management platforms (e.g., Edlio or similar CMS) • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; basic understanding of web hosting environments preferred • Graphic design skills and familiarity with design software • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG compliance preferred) • Strong organizational and project management skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to make appropriate decisions quickly POSITION INFORMATION: Salary: Starting at $39,672 annually, or $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on FTE. Compensation is based on qualifications and experience. We are open to discussing full-time or part-time status based on candidate availability.
