Job Title - Mechanical Engineer 3 Location: Seguin, TX - Onsite Duration: 12 months Education & Experience Required: BE Mechanical 5-7 year Open to 2 year degree with 7+ years' experience Open to internships depending on type Open to master's with 3+ years experience Top 3 Skills Shop support Trouble shooting Creo, team center, plex dditional Technical Skills Seguin System and Process Knowledge Genset product knowledge Experienced at using Cat ET Experience using Creo, TeamCenter and PLEX Test cell Troubleshooting experience Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks Strong verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of UL, CSA, NFPA, and NEC requirements Caterpillar design experience Soft Skills (Required) MS office, Position's Contributions to Work Group : This job will be in Seguin TX, on PG line. Primarily focused on shop support and updating current product design. This will also include supporting NPIs and NSIs. And other MCR activities. Typical task breakdown: Shop support for NPIs, Pilot and Validation testing. Production & test support (Electrical / Mechanical) Introduce ICAs & PCAs to protect RTS Resolve Seguin quality issues (CIAs) and support quality initiatives Deviations, technical support, quality audits DTO support & onsite Rental support Supplier collaboration, find alternative parts and validate new parts Compliance support (UL, ULC, CSA) Interaction with team : Global team interaction, including engineering and other cross functional teams Work environment : Office and shop floor, General shift
