Description Overseeing all aspects of FCBDD center-based enrollment Developing and maintaining balanced rosters that align with state rule, best practice, and collaborative team input for blended children, children with Preschool Special Needs, and peer models. Developing and maintaining FCBDD ECE processes and supporting materials that ensure preschool with special needs, blended children, and peer models are enrolled according to state rule and best practice. Communicate with prospective families regarding program openings, eligibility requirements, and enrollment procedures; conduct parent tours as needed. Connecting with Districts of Residence regarding the enrollment of preschool special education children: Ensuring all required materials are received prior to enrollment, communicating requirements clearly & consistently, and ensuring a strong positive relationship with Districts of Residence. Creating written materials that explain the Preschool Special Education, peer modeling, and Blended program. Lead sustained, creative recruitment efforts throughout the year to attract typically developing children. Ensure classroom enrollment slots are filled or appropriately committed. Overseeing Johnstown classrooms Supervising select Johnstown Teachers and Assistants Ensuring the classrooms are run according to best practice and act as a daily support for the classroom. Supporting FCBDD ECE subs Supervising the ECE Sub Coordinator, Support Instructors and as-needed subs. Onboarding all as-needed subs and Support Instructors. Maintain regular communication with staffing agencies regarding recruitment, hiring, and availability of substitutes. Informing center-based leaders as needed regarding center-based issues with subs. Support with IEP meetings as needed Serving as the FCBDD ECE District Representative at IEP meetings. Answering questions and addressing issues as appropriate. Parent handbook Continually updating the center-based parent handbook to align with state rule, best practices, and explains FCBDD ECE policies and processes in a parent friendly fashion. Licensure and certification Overseeing the licensure and certification of FCBDD ECE Teachers & Assistant Teachers Other responsibilities as assigned RequirementsMaster's degree in Education, Special Education, Educational Leadership, Early Childhood Education, or a related field Prior experience supervising employees Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Development administrative licensure preferred (Principal licensure; Administrative Specialist) At least five years' experience in the education field
