Title: People & Culture Compliance ManagerRole Summary This role is a Corporate People & Culture Manager accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and governance of People and Culture data and compliance across the organization, with a strong focus on California employment requirements. It owns P&C data governance, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation, while producing workforce insights that support leadership decision-making. The role also provides operational support to property Directors of People and Culture, and including management job posting administration and recruitment data accuracy. This is a hands-on role for a detail-driven professional who understands P&C operations, compliance risk, and the practical use of data to support execution and people strategy. Core ResponsibilitiesP&C Data Management and IntegrityMaintain accurate and auditable employee records across all People & Culture systems. Own data hygiene standards, validation processes, and ongoing audits to ensure accuracy and completeness. Serve as the primary steward of People & Culture data used for reporting, compliance, and analytics. Compliance and Regulatory ReportingMaintain compliance documentation aligned with federal, state, and local employment regulations, with deep expertise in California requirements. Support audits, internal reviews, and regulatory inquiries by producing accurate, timely data and documentation. Monitor regulatory changes that impact data collection, retention, and reporting requirements. Partner with legal, payroll, and HR leadership to ensure compliance alignment across systems and practices. People Analytics and InsightsDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analyses related to headcount, turnover, hiring, compliance metrics, and workforce trends. Translate data into clear, actionable insights for People & Culture leadership and hotel operators. Support ad hoc data requests tied to strategic planning, budgeting, and operational decision-making. Talent Acquisition Data and Operations SupportPartner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to manage job posting workflows across platforms. Maintain accurate requisition data, posting compliance, and recruitment metrics. Support reporting related to hiring activity, time-to-fill, applicant flow, and compliance tracking. Process Improvement and Systems OptimizationIdentify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks in People & Culture data processes and recommend improvements. Support system enhancements, integrations, and process documentation related to P&C data and reporting. Act as a practical problem-solver when data issues arise, with a focus on resolution and prevention. QualificationsRequired3-5 years of experience in P&C operations, P&C data management, people analytics, or compliance-focused P&C roles. Strong working knowledge of California employment regulations and P&C compliance requirements. Proven experience maintaining P&C data accuracy across HRIS, ATS, and related systems. Advanced proficiency in Excel or equivalent reporting tools, with the ability to analyze and present data clearly. High attention to detail with strong judgment around data integrity and confidentiality. PreferredExperience supporting multi-state or hospitality workforces. Familiarity with audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation. Experience partnering with Talent Acquisition teams on recruitment operations and reporting.
