Job Title: Transmission Line EngineerJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team working under the guidance of a Lead Engineer to complete projects for various clients across the U.S., ranging from Asset Maintenance Programs to Multi-Year Rebuilds/Tie Lines. This role requires a willingness to travel to project sites as needed to gather data and interface with clients. You will be responsible for performing all aspects of designing overhead and underground power line projects, including line routing, finite element analysis, hardware/conductor selection, and technical support during construction. Additionally, you will develop an understanding of each deliverable necessary for the project, including plan & profiles, structure load analysis, structure framing, bill of materials, and design drawings. You will coordinate internal and external reviews of designs completed before final submission.Responsibilities Work under the lead of a Lead Engineer to complete various projects across the U.S. Travel to project sites as necessary to gather data and interface with clients. Perform all aspects of designing overhead and underground power line projects. Develop an understanding of necessary project deliverables, including plan & profiles and design drawings. Coordinate internal and external reviews of designs prior to final submission. Essential Skills Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or an Associate's degree with 2+ years of industry experience. Proficiency in MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project). Ability to effectively manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, consistency, accuracy, and reliability. Professional disposition and open-mindedness in planning and executing projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic knowledge of overhead and/or underground electric facilities. EIT with the ability to become a registered PE. Experience with NESC, ASCE, and IEEE standards. Experience with AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, GIS, MFAD. Work EnvironmentThis is an in-office opportunity working out of the Lansdale, PA office with the Power Delivery team. The role offers the chance to support a large utility for a growing T-Line team. Employees are eligible for bonuses, and certain tenures may qualify for profit-sharing options.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansdale, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.05/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
