We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to operate commercial vehicles on local routes throughout Long Island. This position is home daily and involves timely deliveries, excellent customer service, and strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety standards. You must posses a clean drivers abstract and an active CDL. salary: $50,000 - $62,000 per year shift: First work hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL Class B commercial vehicle on assigned local routes throughout Long Island Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driver logs Load and unload materials as required (may involve liftgate, pallet jack, or hand unloading) Deliver products to residential, commercial, or job site locations in a timely and professional manner Verify delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures when necessary Maintain compliance with all DOT, federal, state, and local regulations Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly Provide courteous and professional customer service at all delivery locations Skills CDL B (1 year of experience is preferred) Routes Forklift loading unloading transportation Qualifications Years of experience: 0 years Experience level: Entry Level Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
