Job Description The Client's Global Security Organization (GSO) is hiring a Physical Security Systems Manager to work within the Global Physical Security EPIC center and Lab Security team. This position will work with regional business units, security operations team, and various stakeholders from IT and Facilities to assist in the design, scope, and budgets for physical security related projects and ensure alignment with business goals. The role includes scheduling, tracking, and troubleshooting the installation of security related products. Additionally, this role will oversee the day-to-day security systems within the EPIC center and other labs. Strategic oversight of multiple business requests with a strong focus on physical security operations, and management is an essential function of this role. This Physical Security SME will lead regional business needs assessments and adoption of proven and advanced physical security technologies and solutions across client's regional footprint, aligned with risk tiering and global physical security standards. As a key member of the Global Physical Security Strategy and EPIC center and lab team the candidate will possess deep expertise in: Track implementation/installation and day-to-day functions of physical security systems, solutions and guard force. Implementing client's physical security systems standards. Conducting security systems assessments and audits. Understanding the security threat landscape, business risk, and IP protection Key Responsibilities: Physical Security Systems Operation Manager will: Partner with business units, facilities, and Global Information Systems to understand operational needs and risk profiles. Address security vulnerabilities and protect critical IP, personnel, and assets at EPIC and labs. Serve as the strategic SME and advisor for physical security operations across the EPIC center and other lab business operations, aligning solutions with business priorities, standards, and site tiering models. Lead EPIC and lab cross-functional collaboration with regional Security Operations, local (PSSM) project management team, GIS/IT, LCO (legal), and GWI/Facilities to ensure cohesive deployment of security systems. Partner with external stakeholders like security technology vendors, strategic security integrators, to ensure day-to-day operations are not interrupted. Oversight & Compliance Review physical security system designs for EPIC and lab projects, ensuring compliance with Applied's Global Security Design and Scoping Standards. Engage with vendors and internal stakeholders to track end-to-end completion of EPIC and lab security controls. Support GSO site lab security audits/assessments regionally, identifying gaps in physical security systems and working with stakeholders from security operations and PSSM to remediate findings. Ensure all implemented systems meet regulatory, corporate, and industry standards for physical security and data protection. Required Experience Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Professional certifications such as ASIS CPP, PSP, or relevant security technology user level certifications (e.g., C• CURE, Avigilon) strongly preferred. 8-12+ years of progressive experience in physical security management and security technology, including systems design, integration, and lifecycle management. Proven track record in implementing enterprise-level physical security systems, including IP-based video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and advanced analytics. Hands-on experience with leading platforms such as C• CURE and Avigilon, and familiarity with emerging technologies like AI-driven analytics, robotics, and security automation. Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce security system operations include guard force expectations. Skills Customer focused with deep technical expertise in physical security systems (Client, VMS, IDS) and security operations. Strong business and physical security acumen to align security solutions with organizational objectives and risk profiles. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills, including working with IT, Facilities, and external partners. Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities. Project and program management proficiency. Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior management-level reporting and influencing. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, and security design tools (e.g., SiteOwl, Avigilon, Axis, IPVM, CAD, etc.). Ability to travel regionally up to 10%-20%.
