Maintenance Mechanic Pay: $25.00-$30.00 DOE + Shift Differential Hours: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM-12:00 AM (OT as needed) Location: Owasso, Oklahoma Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 122968 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Owasso. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of the plant. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on conveyors, grinders, slicers, packaging machines, refrigeration systems, and other processing equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Inspect, diagnose, and replace defective components to maintain optimal performance Conduct regular maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems to ensure proper temperature control Follow OSHA, USDA, FDA, and all regulatory safety requirements Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and repair records Collaborate with production and QA to resolve equipment issues impacting product quality Train production employees on proper machine operation and minor troubleshooting Adhere to GMPs, company policies, and safety guidelines Requirements & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required (technical/vocational training preferred) 3-5 years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or meat processing Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and automated machinery is a plus Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in cold/humid environments If you're ready to take the next step in your career, apply today for this Maintenance Mechanic opportunity in Owasso.
