JOBID: NK002802 Position: IR Nurse Shift Schedule: Day Location: Vistalia, CA 93291 Start date: 03/09/2026Pay: $80-$83 PER HOUR Job description: 1. Pre-Procedure CarePerform patient assessments (history, medications, allergies, lab results)Verify informed consent Start IV lines and administer pre-procedure medications Provide patient and family education Ensure compliance with procedural safety protocols 2. Intra-Procedure CareAssist interventional radiologists during procedures Administer and monitor moderate (conscious) sedation Continuously monitor cardiac rhythm, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and level of consciousness Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety Document medications, vital signs, and procedural events 3. Post-Procedure CareMonitor patients in recovery for complications (bleeding, hematoma, respiratory depression) Manage pain and administer medications Assess puncture sites and vascular access Provide discharge instructions and education Coordinate follow-up care Type of facility: (Hospital or Outpatient)- Out Patient Qualifications:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State-specific) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Current BLS certification (AHA required) ACLS certification preferred/required Moderate sedation certification (if applicable) Minimum 1-2 years of critical care, ICU, ER, or procedural nursing experience preferred Precision Scans is an equal opportunity employer, committed to cultural diversity.
