Job Description

A specialized role is available for a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist II in Boston, MA, offering an opportunity to contribute vital expertise within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This contract position plays an integral part in the cardiac care team, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of high-quality care. Responsibilities: Provide skilled operation of imaging equipment in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to maintain continuity of patient care. Uphold patient and family-centered care philosophy, ensuring compassionate and personalized interactions. Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Monitor patient status and equipment performance throughout procedures. Adhere strictly to safety and infection control standards. Qualifications/Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. At least 1 year of traveler experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting. Current ARRT certification and RCIS credential required. Proven ability to work flexible shifts, including potential weeknights, weekends, and holidays on call. Strong teamwork and communication skills essential. Schedule/Hours: Choice of (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts per week. Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call may be required during the 13-week contract. No guaranteed weekend or holiday worked shifts, with typically 1-3 weeknights and possibly one weekend shift over the contract period.
