Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program: Applications Close: March 13th, 2026, at 11:55PM ET. Submit your application as soon as possible - don't delay! Fall 2026 Program Dates: Approximately September 2026 - December 2026 JOB SUMMARY:This Special Events intern will go behind the scenes to help Universal's Food & Beverage team deliver world class Special Events like Halloween Horror Nights, Mardi Gras, and more.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Creates global content, documentation, verbal and written communication including but not limited to executive presentations. Participates in field work and hands on training. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above. Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required. A transcript is required upon application. Preferred majors include: Hospitality Management, Food Services, Hospitality/Tourism. PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required. Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization. Exceptional attention to detail. Superior written & verbal communication skills. Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines. Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams. Consistent attendance. Please note the following: This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices. Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026. Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation. All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable.
