ASSIGNMENT DETAILS Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Not specified REQUIREMENTS - Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required - AHA BLS Certification: Required - AHA ACLS Certification: Required - Advanced Electrocardiogram (EKG) certification: Preferred - Critical care experience or experience in Medical-Surgical or Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedure department: Preferred ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide direct patient care as a registered nurse in the cardiovascular unit. - Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and their families on health management and procedures. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. - Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care in the cardiovascular holding area. COMPLIANCE / NOTES - Scrub Color: Provided onsite - Nurses may float to the cardiovascular holding area for pre-operative and post-operative care.
