Where You'll Work Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California. One California Job Summary and Responsibilities$5,000 Sign-On Bonus offered for qualified new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible. The incumbent demonstrates competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. May be required to direct the work of a Physical Therapy Assistant. Meets the discipline-specific productivity standard. Demonstrates competency in the care of patients during field observation by the clinical supervisor. Completes and submits documentation following established guidelines as measured by a designated evaluation tool. Physician orders are present and written correctly. Documents follow up of identified problems. Reviews and documents clinical progress toward goals. Demonstrates coordination of care by appropriate communication with other disciplines and team members, and documents that communication as measured by a designated evaluation tool. Meets agency/regulatory requirements as measured by a designated evaluation tool. Documents appropriate management of visit utilization and authorization status as measured by a designated evaluation tool. Meets regulatory requirements for supervisory visits as measured by a designated evaluation tool. Job Requirements Required Completed an accredited physical Therapy degree program and be board eligible and able to obtain CA PT license within 6 months or have already obtained a CA PT License and Previous experience as a PhysicalTherapist or Physical Therapist student/ intern, upon hire Physical Therapist: CA, within 6 - months and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and Driver's License: CA, upon hire and Auto Insurance, upon hire
