Our client, a leading organization in the federal government contracting sector, is seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Procurement Department supporting various programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title: Procurement SpecialistLocation: Arlington, VirginiaPay Range:What's the Job? Perform comprehensive procurement administration duties supporting pre-award and post-award activities. Collaborate with programs, compliance teams, and suppliers to execute procurement strategies. Negotiate procurement terms to secure favorable outcomes aligned with organizational objectives. Manage procurement documentation, including agreements, modifications, and contractual compliance. Maintain procurement records, respond to data calls, and ensure accurate metrics and workflow management. What's Needed? U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience within a Federal Government contracting environment, especially with Cloud, Hardware, and Software suppliers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and familiarity with FAR/DFAR and Public Law requirements.
