Role: Java Dev Lead / Architect Location: Nashville TN (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Contract Interview Process: Onsite interview Note: - We are looking for USC and GC candidates who are open to working on a W2 basis. 15+ Years EXP Required, Heavy Retail Industry exp required Required Qualifications 10+ years' experience Java Backend development (Java, SQL) 4+ years' experience in technical leadership or as a technical lead 5-7 years of experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on API-first principles. Demonstrated experience with API management platforms (e.g., Azure API Management, Apigee) and asynchronous messaging systems. Retail industry experience HIGHLY Required. Professional Certifications: Programmer certification in Java . Experience with backend platform tools such as Webmethods or Talend. High Demand IT Specialized Skills: Platform knowledge (Linux, UNIX, Windows). Proficiency in API design-first tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman, Stoplight) and API management systems. Familiarity with container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-based environments (Azure ). Experience in building and maintaining event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar tools.
