Overview Join STA Pharmaceutical, part of the esteemed WuXi AppTec family, as a Manager/Senior Manager, CMC Project Leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to lead dynamic drug substance (DS) and drug product (DP) projects within our innovative organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee projects from proposal to successful delivery. Your contribution will involve engaging directly with clients, collaborating closely with technical and business development teams, and representing STA at key industry events. Please note that fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential for this position. Responsibilities Work alongside business development to create competitive proposals by gathering insights from relevant stakeholders. Plan and implement projects efficiently by setting clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables while determining necessary tasks and resources. Monitor and control project progress diligently, ensuring compliance with schedules and budgets while regularly updating key stakeholders. Collaborate with the technical team to proactively identify potential challenges and enact effective solutions. Act as the primary contact for clients, facilitating smooth day-to-day communications. Represent the company in project meetings by preparing agendas, minutes, and action items to promote accountability. Evaluate project outcomes, offering insights and recommendations for ongoing improvements. Support business development initiatives by participating in client visits, conferences, and trade shows. Qualifications A Master's (MS) or PhD in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO/CMO industries is preferred. Project management experience is beneficial. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required. Technical Skills / Knowledge: Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with a successful history in technical and operational areas. Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and small molecule drug development processes. Experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) is a plus, but not mandatory. Independence/ Accountability: Self-motivated individual who is adaptable and driven. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Problem Solving: Proven ability to design and execute effective strategies and processes. Leadership Activities: Collaborate closely with team members across business units and the project management team to ensure cohesive efforts and clear communication. Communication Skills: Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential. Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation proficiency. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. The expected annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $120,000. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods.
