One of our clients in McLean, VA needs an IT Program Manager for a permanent position. Position: IT Program Manager Location: Mclean, VA Position Type: Permanent position Job Description: The Candidate shall perform the below tasks and responsibilities in support and as part of the Sponsors IT Program. The Candidate shall prepare project information and technical analysis results in a clear and concise way that is easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences. The Candidate shall identify technical capabilities and capabilities gaps in the IT program and provide recommendations to address those gaps. The Candidate shall facilitate cross-Sponsor coordination to address the IT programs' task. The Candidate shall develop and receive Sponsor approval of plans that represent an approach for delivering IT program capabilities. The Candidate shall coordinate to ensure problem resolution, task scheduling, IT requirements, and task clarification. Requirements: Demonstrated experience reviewing existing Information Technology (IT) programs and assisting in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques. Demonstrated experience analyzing information to determine, recommend, and plan technical specifications and layouts. Demonstrated experience in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of enterprise IT infrastructure including overseeing issue resolution. Demonstrated experience in project management. Demonstrated experience conferring with project managers to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance, requirements and interfaces. Demonstrated experience preparing reports and correspondence concerning project specifications, activities and status. Demonstrated experience in problem resolution to include organizing and structuring solutions to complex problems. Demonstrated experience supporting an IT program with multiple projects. Demonstrated experience consulting leadership with IT program management activities such as problem resolution, task schedules, new requirements, training needs, or task clarification.
