Application Services SpecialistMemphis, TNPay Rate: $71,300 - $95,000 Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is placed in the pay range. Category/Shift: Salaried Full-Time (Hybrid) About The Role: Take on a key position supporting IT solutions for a global enterprise. As an Application Services Specialist, you'll collaborate with GCF business partners and service providers to deliver secure, effective IT solutions. Utilizing MS Power Platform, SharePoint, Power BI, and database tools, you'll help create rapid solutions for evolving business needs. Key Responsibilities: Participate actively in the development and deployment of advanced analytics and application solutions that enable global operations. Engage collaboratively with business partners to generate user stories, analyze data source capabilities, identify issues and opportunities, build data models, and test and implement innovative solutions. Deliver high-quality, timely development outputs by developing, sustaining, testing, implementing, and configuring solutions in alignment with corporate standards. Provide support for enterprise IT deployment projects, working effectively with cross-functional teams. Develop and maintain detailed functional and technical specifications as well as supporting documentation for custom solutions. Foster strong working relationships with globally distributed IT resources, business analysts, developers, corporate support groups, team members, and business stakeholders. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency of the work environment. Identify, develop, and distribute best practices and process improvements. Serve as an agent for change by challenging existing processes and promoting ongoing improvement initiatives. Encourage contributions from others and influence the adoption of new ideas and methods. Function as a subject matter expert within GCF on IT systems. Provide reliable support within a 24/7/365 framework by participating in an on-call rotation. About You: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field is required. Minimum 2 to 4 years of development experience required. Required Experience/Technologies: Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Database Technologies (MSSQL, Oracle), Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Python or R analytics (Machine Learning) Desired Experience/Technologies: Alteryx, Theobald Universal Xtractor, Azure DevOps, Git, PowerShell, Crystal Reports, SSRS, SSIS, SAP BW HANA, .NET Development (C#/Blazor), Web Development (ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML5) Critical Competencies: Customer Focus Dealing with Ambiguity Functional/Technical Skills Troubleshooting/Problem Solving Action-Oriented/Self-Motivated Learning on the Fly Creativity Communication Skills (oral and written) Team Player Organization and Planning Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities. Ability to provide technical guidance to less experienced teammates and GCF business partners. Influence application and technical architecture directions. Identify, develop, and share best practices and processes. Solid experience with PC and software platforms.
