R.S.M.C. Services, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical Float Pool in Nashville, TN. Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical Float Pool Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Schedule: 36 Hours per Week Duration: 13 Weeks Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in the Medical-Surgical Float Pool. The RN will provide high-quality patient care across five Med/Surg units and float to the Emergency Room as needed. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients (18+) in a general Med/Surg setting Float between five Med/Surg units as assigned Float to ER when required Maintain safe patient ratios of 1:1-1:6 Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR Work required weekends as scheduled Follow unit-based scheduling assignments Requirements: Active Tennessee RN license or Compact License (required at submission) Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience Prior travel nursing experience required Current BLS certification Strong adaptability and clinical judgment Additional Information: Scrub Color: Navy Patient Population: Adults (18+) Interview Process: IVS interview Offer Process: Manager offer This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Med/Surg RN seeking a dynamic float pool assignment in a collaborative clinical environment.
