Driver Helper

Snelling is hiring for furniture movers in Round Rock. Shift: 1st shift, Mon - Fri 7AM - 3:30PM (end time may vary and some overtime may be required) Pay: $18/hr. Job Duties Include: • Assisting in warehouse moving and cleaning furniture • Assisting at various stops with loading and unloading the furniture from the warehouse to a new designated destination (commercial or residential home) • Dealing with couches, office desks, chairs, lamps, pictures, and other commercial furniture material. • Assisting the client in moving the furniture to the appropriate place • Utilization of dollies and moving straps • Inventory and assure that there are no defects and scratches in the load being transported • Have a knowledge in determining what material should be used in wrapping the furniture to ensure it's transported in good condition. • Clean up in all areas assuring that everything has been delivered in the exact location. • Perform all other tasks as required when assigned Required Capabilities: • Must be able to work for several hours at a time unloading and loading furniture in temperatures ranging from 30 degrees to 105 degrees Fahrenheit • Ability to be flexible with the shift, understanding that some destinations are far away and will require a longer travel time with distance • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal written instructions • Willing to work overtime when necessary • Must be able to team lift 100+ pounds repeatedly • Must be able to visually distinguish detail, color, and other characteristics of material and objects • Must be able to get along well with a variety of different people Steel toe shoes requiredOur Commitment to Fair Hiring: HireQuest does not discriminate on the basis of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or other legally protected group status in making hiring or employment decisions.
